Robert "Bob" Lloyd Strong

He graduated from Eastern High School in 1955.

In 1957 Robert would marry his late wife of 56 years Carole (Walker) Strong. Robert found his passion working in Real Estate. He owned and managed Robert Strong Realtors. He taught various real estate classes, and became the president of the bi-laws committee of the Greater Lansing Board of Realtors in 1976. Bob was also a barber, obtaining his certificate from the Flint Institute of Barbering. His children recall fond memories of days where they would get their hair trimmed by their dad at his barber shop. Robert will be missed by all who knew and loved him.

Robert is survived by his three children, Robert L. (Connie) Strong, Renae Strong, and Randy W. Strong; his two grandchildren; Christopher (Rebecca) Strong, and Brandon (Samantha) Strong; seven great-grandchildren, Aundrea, Tristan, Matias, Koren, Marcos, Brielle, and Rhett; brothers Ken (Nancy) Strong, Ron (Marilyn) Strong, and Eugene Strong, Brother-in-laws Jerry Daman and Larry Loftus.

Bob is proceeded in death by his loving wife Carole Strong; his parents, his sister Bernice Daman; sister-in-laws Jane Strong and Doris Loftus.

A Visitation will be held at the Gorsline Runciman Funeral Homes – Tiffany Chapel; 3232 W. Saginaw, Lansing, Michigan 48917 on Tuesday, October 26, 2021 from 11:30am – 1:30pm.

Interment will take place at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.
