Age 54, was called home on Friday, October 18, 2019 after a short, but courageous battle with cancer. Her strong faith in the Lord kept her spirits high and encouraged her loved ones to find peace alongside her. She was a graduate of Eastern High School. She married her loving husband, Dan, 8 years ago. Her greatest joy in life was spending time with her family, her granddaughter, Alle, and all of her many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Margaret Barker, and recently by her Godmother, Pauline Baldino. She is survived by her husband, Dan Bazela, Stepson, Dale (Misty) Bazela, and their daughter, Alle. Also surviving are her dear cousins Cathy (Dan) Kuch and Marie (Dave) Williams along with their children.
Funeral Liturgy is at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, October 25, at St. Michaels Catholic Church 345 Edwards Street, Grand Ledge, with Father James Eisele presiding. Visitation will be held at the church one hour prior to the service. In Lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Sparrow Home Hospice in memory of Paula.
