Norma was born in Lansing, Michigan to Ubaldo and Maria Luisa Patino on December 30, 1945. She was the third of ten children.
Norma was a lifelong resident of Lansing and graduated from Everett High School. She worked at General Motors for many years and retired from Delta Dental in 2007.
Although Norma’s health had been failing in recent years, she was a lifelong fighter and fought until the end. She did not lose the battle, but has gained her ultimate reward from her Lord in heaven.
She is predeceased by her parents; two sisters, Gloria Gordillo and Sonia Patino; and a daughter, Anna.
She is survived by her daughter, Natalia Reyes; her grandsons, Rudy Gelista, Diego Gelista; her sons Rudy (Debbie) Reyes; Tom (Shelly) Danieli; her grandchildren, Ryan (Charlene) Danieli, and Alyssa Danieli; a great granddaughter, Maya; seven siblings, Henry (Liz) Patino, Estella (Manuel) Delgado, John Patino, Lorraine Patino, Olga Patino and Rita Patino and Kenneth Patino. In addition, she is survived by Rene (Shelly) Patino and Christopher Patino whom she loved like sons.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 2nd from 6pm to 9pm with a Rosary at 8:30pm at Gorsline Runciman Funeral Homes Lansing at 900 E Michigan Ave, Lansing, Mi 48912.
A funeral mass for Norma will be held on Friday, March 3rd at 10:30am at Cristo Rey Church, Lansing, with Fr. Vincent presiding. The internment will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery.
