Mildred Marie Wright

She was born in Blackwater, Missouri on June 28,1931 to William Walje and Myrtle Fisher. She married the love of her life, Fred Wright Jr. on November 6, 1954 in Dimondale, Michigan at the Presbyterian Church.

She was a stay-at-home mother, then went back to school prior to working at St. Lawrence as a dietician.

Both she and Fred were life-long members of Grace Bible Church in Lansing, Michigan. They resided in Eaton Rapids in the home her loving husband built. She enjoyed reading, doting on her grandchildren, and knitting, donating numerous afghans to the City Rescue Mission and anyone in need.

She is survived by her daughters, Linda (Michael) Hornung and Kathy (Michael) Lareau; son, Robert (Alice) Wright; and grandchildren, Kelly Wright and Todd (Amelia) Wright. She is preceded in death by her loving husband, Fred Wright Jr.

A visitation for Mildred will be held Friday, September 30, 2022 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Gorsline Runciman Funeral Homes, 900 East Michigan Ave, Lansing, MI 48912. An interment will occur Saturday, October 1, 2022 at 1:00 PM at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, 4444 W Grand River Ave, Lansing, MI 48906.
