Age 68, our loving husband, father, and grandfather passed away August 29, 2016. Born August 23, 1948 New York (Bronx), N.Y. Mike earned his Bachelor's degree in Political Science from M.S.U. He retired with over 35 years of service as an investigator for Equifax, and later Data Surveys. He was an avid sports fan, enjoying the Yankees, Giants, Rangers, Knicks, and especially M.S.U. Most of all he loved spending time with his grandkids, and his family at Christmas.

Surviving are his wife of 38 years, Nancy L. Ayers; 3 children Brent (Jennifer) Ayers, Steve (Summer) Ayers, and Rachel Hewitt; 4 grandchildren Aubrie and J.J. Ayers, Samantha and Kendra Brown; and many other family members and friends. Mike was preceded in death by his parents, Francis and Sylvia Ayers.

The family will receive friends from 4:30 to 5:30 P.M. Friday with the celebration of Mike's life at 5:30 P.M. Friday, September 9, 2016 in the Tiffany Funeral Home, 3232 W. Saginaw, Lansing.
