Mary Virginia Lowe

Mary and her husband Richard, deceased June of 1992, moved to Potterville in 1952 and then to Lansing in 1964. She is survived by her children Betty Elliott, Shirley (Ron) Fandrick, Trudy (Jeff) Beak and Brandon Lowe. Also surviving are her special grandchildren Brent (Bobbi) Elliott, Kyrie Elliott, Michael, “Alex” (Taylor) Allred, Justin (Sonia) Geraldo, Bryce Geraldo, Bridger (Chrissy) Lowe and her great granddaughter Dylan Elliott and great grandson Braxton Lowe. Also surviving is her sister Nelle Dean Edmunds.

Mary loved her Tigers and was fortunate to go to several games in the past few years. She loved to watch bull riding. She played the slot machines at every casino someone would take her to and luckily, she was a winner. She was an avid gardener & heaven help the weed that grew in her flower garden. She made the best pies and even better chicken and dumplings. Everyone was welcome at her kitchen table. Also welcome in her kitchen were all her four-legged visitors. Each and everyone one of them knew what cabinet to sit in front of to receive a treat from Nana.

Funeral services will be Tuesday, October 23rd, at noon at Tiffany Funeral Home on West Saginaw. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to either Capital Area Humane Society or Mid-Michigan Hospice, Sparrow St. Lawrence campus. Friends may visit the guest book at www.tiffanyfuneralhome.com
