Larry Leroy Burhans Jr., affectionately known as "Little Larry," left this world on December 5th, 2023. Born on April 22, 1968, at St. Lawrence Hospital in Lansing, Larry brought joy and warmth to the lives of his parents, Linda and Larry Burhans, from the first day he was born.
A proud graduate of Waverly High School, Larry pursued a fulfilling career as a truck driver, finding joy in the open road. His passion extended beyond work, as he reveled in racing his beloved 1972 Chevelle, creating memories that will forever echo on the tracks of his heart.
Larry's true happiness blossomed during moments spent with his children, especially hunting and fishing alongside his cherished son, Luke. A beacon of positivity, Larry had an infectious smile that could brighten even the cloudiest days. His laughter was a source of joy for all fortunate enough to know him.
Larry is predeceased by his father, Larry Leroy Burhans (10-25-91) and his grandparents Wallace (12-12-88) and Elmina (04/05/10) Finney. Larry is survived by his mother, Linda Burhans, his sister, Nadine Burhans, children Luke Burhans and Amanda Burhans (Leroy Houghtaling), many cousins, and great friends, Richard Wilkes, Robert H. Clark Jr. and Robbie Calkins.
A devoted father, son, brother, cousin, uncle, and friend, Larry Leroy Burhans Jr. will be remembered for his unwavering love, genuine kindness, and the laughter that resonates in the hearts of those who had the privilege of sharing his journey.
As we bid farewell to Little Larry, may his memory be a beacon of light, reminding us to cherish the joy in every moment and to share our warmth with others, just as he did throughout his remarkable life.
