Kenneth "Slugger" G. Beasley

Ken passed away on June 5, 2022 at the age of 84. Born September 18th, 1937. Ken was born in Lansing, MI and then moved back to Tennessee until his early teens and moved back to Lansing, MI where he resided for the rest of his life. Ken will be fondly remembered for his love of family. But most of all for being the best husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, brother, and uncle .He worked at Motor Wheel-Central Fusing as a crane operator for 31 years. He also was a farmer and did excavating. He enjoyed gambling, hunting, fishing, classic cars and drag racing. Ken was preceded in death by his son, Keith Eugene Beasley; his parents, Joe (Alta Lomax) Beasley; and his brother, Bob J. Beasley. Surviving is his wife of 57 years, Donna J. (Zalecki) Beasley; his children, Tamara J. (Ray Sr.) Waldowski of Perry, Brian K. Beasley of Lansing; his siblings, Jerry L. (Kathy) Beasley of Dimondale, Marsha K. (the late Richard) Lathrop of North Carolina; his sister-in-law, Janice (the late Bob) Beasley of Arizona; his grandsons Raymond (Paige) Waldowski Jr. of Perry, Dalton Waldowski of Perry; his great-grandsons, Emmitt Waldowski, Owen Waldowski, Wyatt Waldowski; and many loving nieces and nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews.
