Judie was born January 18, 1940 to Thomas B. and Martha (Chamberlin) Schepers. Judie was a 1958 graduate of East Lansing High School, and a 1963 graduate of Lansing Community College School of Practical Nursing.
In 1965 she married Eugene A. Wade. They resided in Okemos for 43 years lovingly raising their three daughters. She loved her family and the many years they spent together at the cottage on Windover Lake in northern Michigan.
Judie’s green thumb gave life to beautiful gardens around the family home. She was a gifted vocalist and pianist, and she loved attending her daughters’ and her grandchildren’s musical performances and athletic events. She was a 53-year member of the PEO Sisterhood, Chapter BM, East Lansing, Mi. In 2014 Judie retired after 31 years as a manager at the 2nd Time Around in Okemos, living out her retirement years in Sun City, Arizona with her husband Gene.
We shall fondly remember Judie’s care and devotion to her husband, to her family, and to her friends. She will be dearly missed.
