Jose Angel Roman Sr.

Jose Angel Roman sr., of Lansing Mi was born September 2,1960 to Francisco and Catalina Roman in Arecibo, Puerto Rico. He passed away Wednesday, October 19, 2022, in his home that he loved for more than 30 years.

Jose was the Husband to Iris Roman for 43 years and a loving father to Jose Jr., Anthony, Benjamin (Mary Wesley) and Elizabeth Roman. Cherished Grandfather to Senaida, Esmeralda, Lilly, Mercedes, Jesenia, Jose III, Angel, Romeo, Ariel, Sophia, Anissa and Santiago; great grandfather of

Ta’nayah, Dayonna and Santana. Jose was a wonderful brother, uncle and the best father, grandfather and great-grandfather anyone could ever have. Amongst other things he was a hard worker, working 27 years at Sparrow. A man of few words with many stories. He had many hobbies which he loved dearly such as computers, gaming, endless shopping, scary movies, camping and his collection of instruments. We will miss your stories of the past, plans for the future but above all your karaoke solos.

A funeral service for Jose will be held Friday, October 28th at 1:00pm with a visitation one hour prior at Gorsline Runciman Funeral Home 900 E Michigan Ave Lansing, MI 48912. Interment to follow at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Dinner to follow immediately after at Church of Christ 321 E Holmes Rd Lansing, MI 48910.
