Ethel M. Mather, 77, of Lansing, Michigan passed away February 4, 2014. Ethel was born July 15, 1936 in West Branch, Michigan to the late George and Genevieve (Durfee) Post. Ethel worked for 47 years at Hager Fox Heating and Air, and in her time off, she enjoyed traveling and flower gardening. Ethel loved spending time with her family.

Surviving to cherish Ethel’s memory are her children, Diane (Michael) Munger, Richard (Lisa) Mather, Ronald Mather, and Raymond (Susan) Mather; nine grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; sister, Donna (Duane) Mather; and her friends at Hager Fox.

A funeral service will be held Saturday, February 8, 2014 at 12:00 Noon at Gorsline Runciman Funeral Homes, Lansing Chapel, 900 E. Michigan Ave., Lansing, MI 48912. The family will receive friends for visitation two hours prior to the service at the Lansing Chapel. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Capital Area Humane Society, 7095 W. Grand River Ave., Lansing, MI 48906, or the donor’s charity of choice.
