Della Brown

Della Brown, 78, passed away Wednesday, November 2, 2016 in Lansing, Michigan. She was born in Lansing to Edwin Lewis and Opal Lucille (Ferris) Olson on August 11, 1938. She defied explanation, and it was a one of a kind experience to know and love her. She loved her family dearly, and she welcomed anyone with open arms.

Della was preceded in death by her husband, Roland "Sonny" Brown, her parents, Ed, Lucille, and Marion Olson, her two sisters and one brother, and her daughter, Cathy Crozier.

Della will be lovingly remembered by her children, Rodney (Roberta) Graham, Debbie Ward, Kevin (Kathy) Brown, Kim (Dennis) Schweifler, DeAnn (Hobbit) Brown, Doug (Brenda) Brown, and Steve (Angel) Brown; her many grandchildren and many great-grandchildren; and her sisters, Judy, Connie, and Stacy.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, November 5, 2016 at 11:00am at Gorsline Runciman Funeral Homes, Lansing Chapel, 900 E. Michigan Ave., Lansing, Michigan. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Interment will follow in Riverside Cemetery in Langston, Michigan.
