Barbara Jean Graham

Barbara Jean Graham of Lansing, Michigan age 93 passed away on Monday, February 15. She leaves behind two sons and their families; William and Miriam Norris and their son Ryan; Ronald and Kim Norris and their sons Chad and Nick. Also surviving are her brother in law, Jim Graham and wife, Sue; nieces and nephew, Conni and Bob Holderman, Penny Koch and Robin Graham, Jim (Candy) Stockel. She was preceded in death by husband, Donald Graham and her parents, Albert and Lucretia Hal; brother, Red Hall and wife, Claudia and sister, Laura Patterson.

Barbara was employed by Michigan Bell Telephone and the State of Michigan where she retired after 25 years. She enjoyed many years at her cottage at Houghton Lake spending time with her family, fishing and gardening. Her grandchildren were a constant enjoyment and made her very proud. She was a very giving mother sharing joy and keeping faith. She taught us all what the meaning of family is. She enjoyed being active in her church and doing activities with her best friend, Barb Nesmith.

Services will be held at Pilgrim Congregational United Church of Christ, 125 S. Pennsylvania Ave. Lansing, MI 48912 with visitation at the church at 1:00 pm and service at 2:00pm.

In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate contributions to the church or charity of your choice.

Pallbearers will be Ron Norris, Chad Norris, Ryan Norris, Bill Norris, Miriam Elias-Norris and Joe Elias. Honorary Pallbearers, Nick Norris and Chris Lane.
