Anne Marie Miller

Anne was a graduate of Eaton Rapids High School and worked for nearly 40 years in the service of others, caring for the sick and elderly as a nursing assistant in and around Lansing. Anne and her beloved husband, Glenn P. Miller (Decd), raised their family in Ionia, MI Where they owned and operated Miller Adult Foster Care for 12 years.

She was the loving mother of her two sons, Glenn Phillip Miller and Kyle Patrick Miller. She is the cherished grandmother of Hailey Nicole Miller, Lyla Jean Miller and Nolan Miller. Anne is the dear sister of John F. Gee (Tracy Joy "T.J") of Marshallberg, NC. Nephew Adam F. Gee of Sneads Ferry, NC and niece Allyson J. Gee of Raleigh, NC.

Anne enjoyed music of all sorts, arts and crafts. She also enjoyed sewing/ crochet where she was known to create beautiful blankets for newborn babies, kids and all of the family. She loved to travel and especially enjoyed Mackinaw City/island and Florida and loved going to the beach. In her younger days, she was a roller coaster fan who loved a trip to Cedar Point.

She is also survived by her lifelong best friends Laura Tanner-Jackson of Dansville, Michigan, Lori Boggs of Ionia, Michigan, Alexandra and Andreas Baginsky of Offenbach, Germany and her faithful Dachshund, Bailey. She was loved by her late husband’s family The Millers as well.

The memorial service will be 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, October 23rd at the Gorsline Runciman Funeral Home, 900 E. Michigan Ave., Lansing, MI 48912. A short visitation will be Wednesday from :1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m.
