Ann Louise Boyer, age 73, of Lansing, Michigan passed away on Friday, March 1, 2024 at home, with family and friends at her side following a long battle with cancer. She was born August 24, 1950 in Lansing, the daughter of Clifford and Lorraine Edwards. Ann was a lifetime member of Bay Mills - Brimley Historical Research Society and The Homemakers Club in Brimley. She was a very active Girl Scout leader. In 2003 she retired from the City of Lansing and moved with her husband to their house in Brimley on Lake Superior, where she loved hosting family and friends who always knew to bring two containers of QD chip dip. She was a moose-lovin', Pepsi-sippin', Bingo-playin', Stephen King-readin' Nana.
Ann is survived by her children, Kelly Boyer and Mark Boyer; grandchildren, Payton and Maycie; brothers, John and Tom Edwards; bonus grandchildren, Josh, Jorge, August, and Max; numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert; grandson, Zackary Boyer; brothers, Scott and David Edwards.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 pm on Friday, March 8, 2024 at Gorsline-Runciman Tiffany Chapel, 3232 W. Saginaw. Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 6:00-8:00 pm on Thursday.
