Mike had a gift of helping others, he had a great sense of humor, and a deep love of God.
He is survived by his wife, Sandra Baker, our daughter Nathania (Rob) MacGregor, our son Matthew (Charatra) Baker, our grandchildren Moses Baker, Micah Baker and Declan Macgregor, Mike's siblings Marie(Gordon)Mason, Milton(Donna) Baker, Cindy(Ted) Martin, Eleanor (Russell) Mackenzie, and Roselee(Alain Gauvreau), and was predeceased by his sister Ethel Baker.
Mike was a Property Manager for various Federal Government departments as he moved forward in his career, first with Fisheries, then Public Works, and last, the RCMP.
Mike retired in 2008. We moved to Langley, BC in 2011, to be closer to our children & family.
However, Tancook Island was Mike's birthplace. Mike moved to Halifax in 1959, where I met him in grade 5. Our friendship blossomed into love, and we shared 56 years of marriage together.
Until we meet again, the love of my life.
