Brian Jeffry Friedrich

We cherish our memories of Brian Friedrich, who passed unexpectedly but peacefully late last month. Brian is survived by his parents Wolf and Gisela; wife and professional partner Laura; fur-babies Donna and Islay; birth parents Lenard and Pat (Calon); sister Marie, brother-in-law Clint and nieces Emma and Pearl (Downie); brother Michael (Calon); and several aunts, uncles, cousins.

Brian lived life to the fullest, on his own terms, and challenged all around him to push boundaries and question arbitrary conventions. He impacted many lives, and will be greatly missed.

A private reception will be held for family. Friends and colleagues are invited to join in a casual celebration to be held Tuesday, February 28th from 7:00 - 11:00PM at the Artful Dodger Pub, 2364 200th Street in Langley. Come out and share a story, a laugh, a pint, or a dram. Gentlemen, leave your tie at home.

For our friends around the globe who are not able to join us, please feel free to send along a memory or a toast to Laura ([email protected]). Please clearly indicate if you’d like it to be read aloud during the evening, or kept for later, to be read by Laura and Brian’s family.
