Rose Marie Golden

Rose Marie Golden, 80, of Pleasantville passed away on Monday, November 11, 2024 at her residence. She was born in Rushville, Ohio on November 10, 1944. Rose worked for several doctors’ offices in the area for many years. She was also a member of the Pleasantville Fire Department for 25 years.

Rose is survived by her children, Penny (Daniel) Marquart and Timothy (Kelli) Golden; grandchildren, Mandie Marquart and Chase (Alicia) Golden; great-granddaughter, Aleighlyn Rose Golden; sister, Kaye (Earl) StClair, sister-in-law, Jeanie Sutton and brother-in-law, Charles Golden; special cousins Norma Jean Stilwell and Patty Byers; special friend and aide Jennifer Moore and friends Phil and Brenda George; along with many other loving friends and family members.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Leon DeVale Golden, mom, Georgie Sutton (Shumaker), father, Robert Marshall and step father Dalton Sutton, siblings, Darlene Hupp, Gerald Marshall, Michael Sutton and Marsha Persinger, and aunt, Mary Jane Shumaker. She was also preceded in death by special fur baby, Angel.

Funeral Services will be held on Friday, November 15, 2024 at the HALTEMAN-FETT & DYER FUNERAL HOME at 5PM. A Visitation will take place on Friday from 3PM-5PM. Dignity Cremation is to take place following the services.
