Rebecca “Becky” Sue Coffman, 86 of Carroll, passed away on Friday, April 26, 2024 at Pickerington Methodist Hospital. Becky was born on January 13, 1938 in Lancaster, Ohio to the late Clifford and Marian Coffman. She attended Ohio University and worked in the executive offices of Holiday Inn and for the City of Lancaster before working on her true love, her farm.
Honey Hill Orchard was her true passion, from making apple butter and hand pressed cider every fall, to mushroom hunting and fishing, the over 30 years spent at the farm was her greatest joy. Becky was a wonderful cook, gardener and was a master at making sourdough bread. She was always active, walking the farm or walking the Pine Hill Golf Course, she always took the time to care for her health. She loved to travel throughout the United States and internationally. Becky had a beautiful voice; she loved to share her talent of singing, by traveling to many places to perform over the years. She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star and the Carroll Senior Citizens. Most of all, she loved her family and she will be missed by all that knew her.
Becky is survived by her daughter, Tania (Terry) McKittrick; granddaughters, Brittany (David) Burt and Hannah Eveland; brother, Ben (Judy) Coffman; as well as many nieces, nephews and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her son, Rodney Eveland; and her sister, Charlotte Welch.
Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, May 4, 2024 at 12PM at the HALTEMAN-FETT & DYER FUNERAL HOME. Visitation will be held on Friday from 2PM-4PM & 6PM-8PM. Dignity Cremation is to take place following the services.
In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the Fairfield Area Humane Society (1721 Granville Pike Lancaster, OH 43130).
