Paul Ratliff

Paul David Ratliff, 63, of Lancaster, passed away on Wednesday, March 29th, 2023 at the Fairfield Medical Center. Paul was born in New Lexington, Ohio to Lee Ratliff and Doris Ansel on March 7th, 1960. He had retired as a Correction Officer for the State of Ohio after 30 years. Paul enjoyed umpiring softball, hunting, fishing and tinkering on small engines in his garage.

Paul is survived by his wife of 41 years, Diana Ratliff; son, Dustin (Ashley) Ratliff; daughter, Maria (Dylan) Fausnaugh; granddaughters, Jennie, Taylor, Scarlett and Lauren; soon to be grandchild, Peyton; honorary children, Lance and Angela Earliwine; brothers, Rich, Jimmy, Kevin, Hick, and Ricky; sister, Vicky; as well as many nieces, nephews and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father Lee; mother, Doris “Tootie” and step-dad Chuck; and his brother, Larry.

Funeral Services will be held on Friday, April 7th, 2023 at 11AM at the HALTEMAN-FETT & DYER FUNERAL HOME. Visitation will be held on Thursday from 1-3PM & 5-7PM, as well as ONE HOUR PRIOR to the services on Friday. Dignity Cremation is to take place following the services.
