Norma Jean Murphy

Norma Jean Murphy age 86 of Lancaster, Ohio passed away Saturday February 10, 2024. She was born October 21, 1937 in Lancaster, Ohio the daughter of the late John Lee and Mary Jane Morris. Norma is survived by her son Mark, brothers Ronald, Edward (Jeanette), and Fred Morris all of Lancaster, Ohio and brother-in-law Thomas (Judith) Murphy of Columbus, Ohio and nieces and nephews. Norma was preceded in death by her husband of 54 years James C. Murphy, sisters-in-law, Mary Ann Morris and Sandra Morris, father-in-law and mother-in-law Murray (Mary) Murphy. Norma was a 1955 Graduate of Lancaster High School, Lancaster, Ohio. Norma attended Lancaster Business College and worked for Tobias Studios and Diamond Power before becoming a homemaker when her son Mark was born.

Arrangements are being made by Halteman Fett, Dyer Funeral Home. There will be no calling hours, a private service and burial in Maple Grove Cemetery, Lancaster, Ohio will be held at a later date.
