Judy Eden

Judy K. (Mason) Eden, 79 passed away on Sunday, March 28th, 2021 at Crestview Nursing & Rehab. She was born on August 29th, 1941 to the late Paul and Cora Harvey. Judy worked for Fairfield County Probate Court as an Assistant Chief Deputy, before retiring after serving 30 years of service under 3 Judges. She was a devoted wife and mother.

She was preceded in death by her husband, James R. Eden Sr.; mother-in-law, Bertha Mae Eden, father-in-law, Walter Eden, and sister-in-law, Jill Marie Eden.

She is survived by her son, James R. Eden Jr.; sisters-in-law, Janis (Steve) Shumaker, and Joan Coakley; brother-in-law, Robert Wolfey and several nieces, nephews and close friends.

Funeral Services will be held on Friday, April 2nd, 2021 at 1PM at the HALTEMAN-FETT & DYER FUNERAL HOME, officiated by Pastor Paul Wymer. Burial is to follow at Maple Grove Cemetery. Calling Hours will be held ONE HOUR PRIOR to the services on Friday.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Judy’s memory to the Alzheimer’s Foundation.

The family would like to give a special thank you to the staff at Crestview for their loving care of Judy for 11 years.
