Jo Ann Ball

Jo Ann Ball, age 79, passed into the heavenly arms of her Lord and Savior Jesus on Thursday, November 12th. She is survived by her three children, who made up the entirety of her world, Rod (Chris) Ball, Jeff (Kay) Ball, and Kendra Seitz. Jo Ann was a beloved grandmother to Austin (21), Hayden (20), and Nathan (16). Jo Ann is survived by her loving siblings Gary (Grace) Eisz, Debbie (Terry) Craiglow, Julie (Harold) Poole, and Johnny (Becky) Eisz. She is also survived by her mother Mary Ann Rudolph.

Jo Ann was a passionate believer in God who lived out her faith in her daily life. She loved to watch Christian shows on television and spend hours at a time reading her Bible. In addition to her faith, Jo Ann devoted herself to her career as a hair dresser for 50+ years. The relationships that she had with her clients were ones that she truly treasured. They were more like family than clients. Jo Ann looked forward to going to work and being with her “ladies”.

Jo Ann spent her entire life in Lancaster, Ohio where she was an active member of the community. She was involved in Quota Club for many years and loved the fundraisers and activities that the group organized. Jo Ann was a member at the First United Methodist Church and then in her later years attended Emmanuel Lutheran Church.

A memorial service for family only will be held on Wednesday, November 18, 2020 at Halteman-Fett-Dyer Funeral Home.
