Connie S. Rogers, age 67, died Monday April 4, 2022, at Buckeye Valley Nursing Home after a long illness. Born October 10, 1954, in Lancaster she was a 1973 graduate of Bloom Carroll High School of Carroll, OH. She is most remembered by her time with the 121st Air Refueling Wing out of Rickenbacker Airfield, where she was the Secretary for the Wing Commander. After 33 years of service, she retired from the Air Wing, but still spent several years volunteering to feed the Troops at Rickenbacker. She is survived by her husband of 47 years Michael Rogers; sons, Anthony Rogers and Aaron Rogers; Nephew Jeff (Dee) Stebelton; Niece Melissa (Sean) Solt; Nephew Jason Stebelton; Nephew, James (Leslie) Stebelton; sister-in-law, Sharon Stebelton; grandniece Sarah Stebelton; grandnephew, Jake (Kelly) Stebelton; and great grandnephew, Hudson Ward.
Preceded in death by her brother; Roland “Shorty” Stebelton; father, Roland “Newt” Stebelton; mother, Frances Stebelton. Friends may visit 5 to 8 pm on Thursday at the HALTEMAN-FETT & DYER FUNERAL HOME 436 N. Broad St., Lancaster, OH 43130, and 9 to 10 am Friday where the funeral service will follow at 10:00 am, with Chaplin Tom Whiteman officiating. Interment at Betzer Cemetery.
