Bonnie Ruth “Kitchen” Douglas, age 81 of Lancaster passed away Saturday, April 27, 2013 at The Pickering House.
She was a member of Calvary Orthodox Lutheran Church and a Past Worthy Matron of the Order of Eastern Star. Bonnie enjoyed life and loved; gardening, baking, sweets and traveling with her husband. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother.
Survived by: her husband of 57 years Thomas E. Douglas, SR., daughters; Joni L. (Bill) Brookover, Rae Ellen (Alan Morris) Douglas, and Laine L. Douglas, sons, Thomas (Peggy) Douglas JR. and Mark A. (Mary Jane)Douglas, fifteen grandchildren and twenty-four great grandchildren, a brother Terry (Valerie) Kitchen, nieces and nephews
Preceded in death by: her parents Emmitt and Freda Kitchen and brothers Melvin and Ben Kitchen.
Funeral services will be held 10:30 A.M. Wednesday at the Halteman-Fett & Dyer Funeral Home with Pastor: John Michles and Roger Hale officiating. Burial will be at Maple Grove Cemetery, Lancaster.
Friends may call 2-4 & 6-8 P.M. Tuesday at the funeral home. Where the Order of Easter Star will have services at 7:30 in the evening.
