Barbara Ann (Cullison) Parker passed away peacefully September 16th, age 87. She was born June 18,1937 to the late Garnet (Lash) and Basil L. Cullison formerly of The Plains, big sister to Basil, Richard and George. Following High School graduation, she boldly moved to Washington, DC for a position with the FBI, and later moved to Columbus, Ohio for professional work until her marriage to Michael Parker in 1979.
The couple relocated to a country life in Amanda, Ohio which provided the spiritual escape from the city but wasn’t too far from the CMH departures terminal for husband Mike’s many business trip weekly drop-offs. She was the doting “Aunt Bobbie” to her nephews Jason, David, Clay and B.J. and nieces Lynn and Kendra who all benefitted considerably from her heart of gold, unconditional love and welcoming smile. Spiritual and always the optimist, she saw the good in people, loved family, her dogs, and her home in the country. She leaves behind husband Mike, brother George, nieces and nephews and many great-nieces and great-nephews who will all carry her kindness forward into the world. The family will plan for a future private memorial service.
