Madeline Louise Westerlund

Madeline Westerlund passed away peacefully on December 6th, 2023 in her home in Lancaster California at the age of 88. Madeline was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin in 1935, she was one of 9 children and went on to be a wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She was an artist like both of her parents and passed on her talent to her children and grandchildren. She enjoyed the ocean, traveling by train, watercolor painting, was an avid reader and volunteered for many causes. She put up a brave fight against two forms of cancer in the last three years. In her final moments she was surrounded by her loving family and expressed her love and appreciation for all who helped her through her illness. Her final resting place will be at Assumption Cemetery in Simi Valley California.

A funeral service for Madeline will be held Wednesday, December 20, 2023 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at Joshua Memorial Park & Mortuary, 808 East Lancaster Blvd, Lancaster, CA 93535. A visitation will occur Wednesday, December 20, 2023 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM, 808 East Lancaster Blvd, Lancaster, CA 93535. A graveside service will occur Thursday, December 21, 2023 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Assumption Catholic Cemetery, 1380 Fitzgerald Rd, Simi Valley, CA 93065.
