AGE: 90 TOMS RIVER

Robert H. Lindsay, 90, of Toms River, passed away at Atlantic Coast Rehab, Lakewood, on Saturday, Feb. 27, 2010. Born in New York, he was formerly of Hillsdale, NJ before moving to Toms River 13 years ago. He was a bank manager for Manufacturers Hanover Trust in New York City and Garden City, N.Y. for over 40 years before retiring 25 years ago.

He was predeceased by his brother, Chester. Surviving are his wife of 67 years, Elizabeth; his children, Elizabeth of Toms River, and Robert Lindsay of Long Island, N.Y.; daughter-in-law, Dorothea Lindsay; grandchildren, Vanessa and Kara; a great-grandchild, Alix Marino; his sister, Dorothy Cautela of Long Island; and brother, Norman of Jacksonville, Fla.

Visitation will be from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday, March 3, with a funeral service at 8 p.m. at D'Elia Funeral Home, Route 70 and Vermont Avenue, Lakewood. Cremation will be private.
