Michael William Bonfiglio, age 57, of Long Branch, NJ, passed away on Wednesday, February 28, 2012. Born in Brooklyn, NY, he was a resident of Long Branch for 20years. Son of the late Marian & Michael J. Bonfiglio, he is survived by his brother Anthony and his wife Christine; two nephews, Dominic and Joseph; one aunt and uncle and 5 cousins. Michael was a life-long Met and Giant fan. Growing up he played wheelchair basketball at Human Resources School. He graduated from Brookdale College and was a volunteer at Monmouth Hospital and Moceans. Relatives and friends will be received from 2 to 4 p.m. on Saturday, March 10, 2012 at the D’Elia Funeral Home, Rte. 70 & Vermont Ave., Lakewood, NJ 08701. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to woundedwarriorproject.org in Michael’s name.
