Linda Burke

Linda Burke, 65, passed away March 22, 2015 at Bea Lea Village in Toms River. Mrs. Burke is originally from North Jersey, spending many years in Buffalo, NY before settling in Ocean County, NJ. She worked for Star Tech Medical Institute for many years as a Medical Instructor and Registrar. Linda enjoyed scratch off lottery tickets, surfing the web and was known for her strong personality. She was a loving aunt and sister in law and will be greatly missed by all. Mrs. Burke is predeceased by her husband of 24 years, Myles in 2001. Linda is survived by her nieces and nephews, Vincent M. Mari and his wife Svetlana, Beth Subokow and her husband Edward, Bill Johnson and his wife Laura and Francine Dimpter and her husband Matthew, 9 great nieces and nephews, brother and sister-in-laws, Vincent J. Mari, Gladys Mari, Dorothy Johnson and Bill Johnson. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 25, 2015 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm at the D’Elia Funeral Home 1300 Vermont Ave. Lakewood, NJ 08701. Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, March 26, 2015 at 12 Noon at the St. Mary of the Lake Church in Lakewood. Cremation will be held privately. Enichement will be at St. Mary of the Lake Cemetery, Lakewood, NJ. In lieu of flowers please make donations in Linda’s memory to the Brick Animal Shelter 185 Brick Blvd, Brick, NJ 08723.
