Joseph Thomas Correnti

Joseph Thomas Correnti, 60, passed away March 6, 2014 at Ocean Medical Center. Joe was born in Newark, raised in Harrison where he attended Harrison High School before settling in Brick for the past 35 years. He worked for PSEG as a welder for over 20 years and for Brick Memorial High School as the head custodian. Joe was an avid NASCAR fan and enjoyed his pipe. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother and boyfriend to his four legged girlfriend Lola and will be greatly missed by all. Joe is predeceased by his parents Patsy and Rita. Joe is survived by his wife of 8 years, Barbara, children, Michelle Feder and her husband Justin, Joanne Connors and her husband Michael, and Joseph Correnti, step children, Christine Greenlee, Tara Schinder and her husband Christopher, Melissa Barnfield and her husband Brian, and George Daley and his wife Heather, 14 grandchildren, brothers, Patsy Correnti and his wife Barbara, Robert Correnti and his wife Anny and Dean Correnti. Friends may call Sunday, March 9, 2014 from 4-8pm at the D’Elia Funeral Home Rt. 70 & Vermont Ave. Lakewood, NJ 08701. Cremation will be private.
