Diane A. McVeigh

Diane A. McVeigh, 72, passed away April 29, 2016 at the University Hospital of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia. Mrs. McVeigh was born in Paterson, NJ moving to Elmwood Park, Fairfield and finally settling in Manchester, NJ for the past 6 years. She is a graduate of the East Paterson High School. Diane worked for ADP Processing in Parsippany for many years as a Medical Assistant. She was an avid bowler and golfer and loved to play bocce and create ceramics. Diane was known for her lovable personality. She was a loving mother and grandmother and will be greatly missed by all. Mrs. McVeigh is pre deceased by her husband Charles J and father, Albert Carlson. Diane is survived by her mother, Amelia Carlson, her daughters, Tracey Burschlag and her husband David and Colleen Nickel and her husband William and grandchildren, Brooke, Drew, Eric, Kyle and Corinne. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, May 3, 2016 from 6-9 pm at the D’Elia Funeral Home 1300 Vermont Ave. Lakewood, NJ 08701. Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, May 4, 2016 at 10AM at the funeral home. Interment will take place at Gate of Heaven Cemetery in East Hanover.
