Astrid Mildred Henry

Astrid "Millie" Henry, age 95, of Brick, New Jersey passed away on Tuesday, August 1, 2023 at the Spring Oak at Toms River assisted living community. Raised in Little Ferry, NJ, Millie was a former resident of Bergen County prior to moving to Brick, NJ in 1967. In addition to being a devoted homemaker, she was a retired administrative professional, having worked with Pt. Pleasant Beach Nursing Home and the ME Sabosik Associates, Inc. MIllie loved country line dancing and participating in the Brick Senior Center activities.

Wife of the late John Robert Henry, who passed away in 2019; Millie is survived by their three children, Donna Henry of Brick, NJ; Lynn Coates and her husband James of Milton, DE, and Brian Henry and his wife Anne of Tinton Falls, NJ; her grandchildren, Christopher Zweemer his partner and her son, Leah and Noah, Gregory Zweemer and his wife Kelley, Joshua Coates and his wife Danielle, and Joanna Frutiger and her husband Chuck; and her great-grandchildren, Easton, Colton, Kierstin, Ava and Rowan. Millie was predeceased by her grandson Jimmy Coates, and her beloved siblings.

A committal service will be conducted at 2:30 p.m. on Monday, August 14, 2023 in the Chapel at the BG William C. Doyle New Jersey Veterans Cemetery, 350 Provinceline Road, Wrightstown, NJ 08562.
