Jason Richard Barnes

Jason Richard Barnes, age 49, of Denver, Colorado passed away on Saturday, April 2, 2022. Jason was born March 20, 1973. He was born to Richard Hillman & Sue Caylor and had 1 sister and 2 step-sisters. He graduated from Bellview Christian and worked as a Inventory Specialist. Jason was a member of Bodragaz and had a passion for Music. He played the keyboard and the violin. Jason is survived by his parents Richard Hillman (Hae), Sue Caylor (Steve); his sister Deedra King (Adam), niece and nephew Isaiah and Hannah, Uncle Jimmy (Kathy), Uncle Daryl, Aunt Donna (Larry), Great uncle Jim Hassler (Sandy), Cousins Doug and Greg and his step sisters Erika and Tara Caylor.

"Jason the Great" was known by many. He was a kind gentle soul with a wonderful sense of humor. Even though he could be quiet, he was sensitive and compassionate to others. Jason was generous and enjoyed lending a helping hand. He loved his niece and nephew and enjoyed making them laugh. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.

A visitation for Jason will be held Friday, April 15, 2022 from 10:30 AM to 12:30 PM at Advantage Funeral & Cremation Services – Runyan-Stevenson, 6425 West Alameda Ave, Lakewood, CO 80226. Following the visitation will be a graveside service from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Golden Cemetery, 755 Ulysses St., Golden, CO 80401.
