Jack was born in Sundown Texas. He was the youngest of 6 kids in the family. He met his wife Frances Jacobs in Luling texas. She was a waitress and he was passing through town on his way to Houston to "start his life and become a man". He didn't make it to Houston, because they fell in love right then and there. They married in 1962. Shortly there after they moved to Colorado and had 3 children, Curtis, Robert and Belinda (Bo).
He owned his own detail shop for over 40 years, where he provided well for his family.
He was a kind man, always willing to lend a hand or ear to family, friends and strangers alike. He was easy going and easy to talk to. He was a father figure to many more kids and teenagers than to just his own kids.
One example of his kindness, he was driving in a snowstorm and picked up a hitchhiker to give him a ride. He then gave the fellow his coat so that he wouldn't be cold when he got out of the car. Dad's car was old, not great tires and he was at risk of having to possibly walk in the snow himself, but he was thinking of how he could help a stranger.
He is proceeded in death by his wife, Frances Wolf- Jacobs, his brother Leroy Fuller, brother Allen Tommy Jacobs, sisters Mary "Mitzi" Roseland, Linda Beth Jacobs, his Mother Ocie Ellison, Father William "Bud" Jacobs.
He is survived by His sons Curtis (Deeann), Robert (Diana), daughter Belinda "Bo" Bentley, Grand children Chelsea, Amanda, Kirsten, Brooke, Riley, Briana, Tanner, Preston, and his sister Bobbi Smith of San Antonio TX.
