Carolyn Jean Silver died on November 27th in Arvada Colorado, at the age of 87. She was born in Colorado Springs to Ruth and Robert Lollar on May 2, 1935. Her happy childhood was spent in Colorado with her siblings Mae, Patricia and Robert Jr. In her 20’s she worked at Martin Marietta as a draftsman. Those around her would describe her as having style, looks and class.
Later she married Arthur G. Silver and became the mother to five children. The young family lived in a number of states over the years to include Colorado, Utah, Arizona, Georgia and Massachusetts but in her heart, home was always Colorado. Her family was her life, and her life’s purpose centered on being a mother.
Carolyn is survived by her children, Bridgit Coffman, David Silver and Georgia Silver; her daughter-in-law, Stephanie Silver; her son-in-law, Dale Coffman; her grandchildren, Aishah Mosteller and Samantha Al-Bawab; and her great grandchildren, Julian (JJ), Miriam (Belle) and Ellanoir (Ellie) Mosteller.
Carolyn was preceded in death by her mother and father, Ruth and Robert Lollar; her sons; Graydon and Barrett Silver; and her siblings; Mae, Patricia and Robert Lollar.
A celebration of Life gathering will be held on Saturday, January 21, 2023 at 1-4pm at The Depot within The Village of Five Parks, Arvada.
