Michael was born on February 7, 1980 in Austin TX, and from the moment he entered this world, brought warmth, joy, and laughter to all those around him. His vibrant spirit and compassionate nature touched the lives of many, leaving an indelible mark on all who had the privilege of knowing him.
Raised in Creedmoor, Texas, Michael attended Del Valle schools from kindergarten through high school. Afterwards, he extended his education at Austin Community College. He was an active participant in youth league soccer, baseball, and football, and alongside his siblings and cousins, he embarked on countless adventures, exploring the local creeks, fields, and woods. Throughout high school, Michael continued his athletic pursuits playing football, and contributed his musical talents playing trombone in the band. He was also actively involved in PALS, and other school and community activities. He later instilled his enthusiasm for the outdoors, sports, and his community into his two loving sons.
In 1998, Michael met the love of his life, Jasmine McLeod, whom he affectionately referred to as his "bold beauty". They exchanged vows in 2006, and their union blessed them with two beautiful boys, Jaxon and Judson, whom Michael cherished deeply. Family was paramount to Michael. In addition to his dedication to his family, Michael was a visionary entrepreneur. He pursued his dreams with passion, and unwavering resolve. His ingenuity and resourcefulness were truly remarkable. A skilled handyman, Michael had a knack for fixing just about anything — except perhaps when it came to tackling a broken hairdryer!
Michael was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Mary Robbins; paternal grandparents, Nancy and James Gold; and stepbrother, Michael Blair.
