Fifty years ago, Stu was an early faculty member at Clayton Junior College just South of Atlanta. He was a great guy to be around. I remember seeing Stu walking home, down a state highway that seemed a little unsafe to me so I pulled over, picked Stu up and drove him home. We sat in the car talking for a while and I discovered that Stu was even sharper than I thought he was. I never changed my opinion. I enjoyed serving with him at CJC/CSC/CCSU over the decades. My prayers go out to lift Barbara and his son, “Artie” up. May the peace of God be with you as you adjust to life without Stu.
