Pauline was a dedicated and caring Kindergarten teacher in Palm Beach County for 40 years working at
Barton Elementary and Citrus Cove Elementary.
Born in Bimble, Kentucky she moved to Florida in the late 1950's with her husband E.L Burnett, whom
preceded her in death, and in 1965 they built a home and moved to Lake Worth.
She is survived by the following: Daughter Sheila Waddell, her husband Tim Waddell, and
granddaughter Amber Waddell. Son Mark Burnett, his wife Lori Burnett, daughter Jora Burnett,
grandson Jonathan Smyre, his wife Brook Smyre, and great grandchildren Tanner Smyre and Tatum
Smyre. Daughter Vickie Burnett, grandson Keith Burnett, his wife Brittany Burnett, granddaughter
Lensley McFarlane, and grandson Robin McFarlane. Her brother Clarance Payne Jr. as many extended
family members.
A memorial service will be held in her memory on Monday June 11, 2018 at Dorsey - E. Earl Smith
Funeral Home located at 3041 Kirk Road, Lake Worth, FL. 33461 from 4 to 7 pm with a Celebration of life beginning at 7pm.
