Ms Louise n Mr Jim were family friends for 70 years. They came to my Mother/Daddy 50th in Georgia. Our family spent several Thanksgivings at their home in West Palm. A lovely woman n Christian example to all. Peace and blessings to Mervyl n Jimmy

Mrs. Coody taught my 2 youngest children in kindergarten. She’s the one that called to my attention that one of them might need to be tested for ADD/ADHD which wasn’t as readily diagnosed then as it is today. If memory serves me correctly when she was asked to teach a women’s Sunday school class she responded in the negative saying, “I can handle children behaving  like children but not adults behaving like children.” 
What a legacy she leaves not only in her family but all those children she impacted.

Mrs. Coody led an exemplary, Christian life. I met her family in January 1964. Mervyl and I have been friends ever since. Even into retirement, Mrs. Coody continued to work for the Lord. She's in Heaven rejoicing in her new, pain free body. I know Mr. Coody and Gary were right behind Jesus waiting to welcome her to her eternal home. Jesus greeted her with these words. "Well done, though good and faithful servant." May sweet memories of her warm your heart.

We are sorry for your loss. Louise was a faithful mainstay of our Gideon Camp since we met her in 1995.
Her love for the Lord and the distribution of Bibles was unshakable.
It was great to have her so long as a friend.
She is at home with Jim and her Lord.
