Kerry Fleming

It is with great sadness and broken hearts that the family of Kerry L. Fleming announces his passing on Friday, January 7th, 2022 at the age of 70. He passed away peacefully at home with family by his side.

Kerry will be loving remembered by his wife of 42 years, Judi; and his four children, Kimberlie Zuccaro (Bernie), Christopher Fleming (Kristina), Rhonda Buxbaum (Edward) and Tanya Latham.

Kerry will also be remembered by his 11 grandchildren, Melanie Carucci, Kelley Fleming, Natalie Carucci, Kyle Buxbaum, Casey Buxbaum, Cameron Buxbaum, Cody Buxbaum, Gage Fleming, Teagan Fleming, Anthony Zuccaro and Elizabeth Zuccaro: and will also be remembered by his sister, Lorry Perusi; two brother-in-laws, Arnie Oliver and Ronald Perusi; and two nephews, Corey Oliver and Matthew Perusi, and one niece, Holly Ross. He was predeceased by his parents, George Fleming and Jean L. Fleming-Petersen.

Kerry had a long Law Enforcement career spanning over 32 years, 7 service years with Lake Worth Police Department and 25 years with the Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office retiring from PBSO in 2005. Kerry worked various assignments throughout his Law Enforcement career but was most well known for his contribution as a supervisor over the PBSO Vehicular Homicide Investigative Unit.

The movie industry was Kerry's passion throughout his life beginning at the early age of 14 when he worked part time at a movie theater in York, PA where he was born. He would go on to work as a movie projectionist part time throughout the years. After retiring from the PBSO he worked full time as a head projectionist for over 14 years until fully retiring in 2019.

Kerry will always be in the hearts and lovingly remembered by all who knew and loved him.

A Funeral Home Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 15th from 5:00pm to 8:00pm at Dorsey-E. Earl Smith Funeral Home, 3041 Kirk Road, Lake Worth, FL 33461 (561)964-3772.

A Church Visitation will be held on Monday, January 17th at 12 noon at Palm Springs Baptist Church, 3300 10th Avenue North, Palm Springs, FL 33461 (561)965-8970.

A Church Funeral Service will be held on Monday, January 17th at 1:00pm at Palm Springs Baptist Church, 3300 10th Avenue North, Palm Springs, FL 33461 (561)965-8970.

Graveside Services will follow at Lake Worth Memory Gardens, 3041 Kirk Road, Lake Worth, FL 33461.

Family & friends will be invited to return to the church for a reception following the graveside services.
