Teresa Jo Frizzell

Teresa was born to Gerald and Connie (Miller) Teachworth in Ionia on September 24th, 1960. She graduated from Ionia High School in 1979 with a diploma and beautician certification. She had a motivated career at Farmers insurance for 25 years, starting as a receptionist and ending with furthering her education in computer programming. In recent years Teresa found joy in taking her 1984 Sunbird named "Baby" and her Side by Side "Rose" for adventures. Enjoying nature whether it be the birds and flowers or around the campfire with family brought peace and love to Teresa.

Teresa is survived by; her mother Connie Teachworth, caring husband, Nelson, children Valerie (Bryan) Idema, Michael (Jackalynn) Dean, Sara (Charles) Booth, Elizabeth (Joshua) Baty, Jim (Angie) Frizzell, and Rebecca (Devin) Phenix, grandchildren Victoria Martinez, Briana Dean, Allison Frizzell, Tyler Idema, Lauren Baty, Blake Frizzell, Jacob Dean, Millie Phenix, Noah Dean, Deklan Phenix, and Weston Baty, sister April (Carl) Ferrer and niece Angie DeBois .

Teresa was preceded in death by her father, Gerald Teachworth.

Visitation will be held on Monday, May 6th, 2024 from 5pm until 8pm at Koops Funeral Chapel, Lake Odessa, MI. Funeral services will take place on Tuesday, May 7th at Koops Funeral Chapel at 11am with private interment taking place at Clarksville Cemetery.
