Sherry Clem

Sherry Louise Clem, age 72, of Lake Odessa, Michigan passed away on Friday, October 11, 2024. Sherry was born on February 12, 1952 to Richard Ivan and Lucile Beatrice (Reese) Schray in Hastings. She graduated from Lakewood High School in 1969. Enlisted in the US Army in May 31, 1970 at Fort McClellan, Al, separating on March 30, 1972 with an honorable discharge and rank of E4. During her service she was MP at Provost Marshall Office at Ft Sill, OK. Sherry received several letters for her exceptional performance of duty. She was a nurse which was a profession that she loved, and caring for others was her calling. Sherry absolutely loved her grandchildren and was very proud of them.

She will be dearly missed by her daughter Brandy (Chad) Johnson, brother Jerry (Kelly) Schray, grand children Tiana (Cody Crosby) Salas, Jose Salas, Silvara Goodrich, Cindel Goodrich and Sylus Holland, fur babies Benny and Sweet Pea.

Sherry was preceded in death by her parents, daughter Tina Salas, brother Larry Schray.

According to her wishes cremation has taken place and celebration of her life will be October 18, 2024 at 11:30am at VFW Post 4461, 3600 Tupper Lake St, Lake Odessa MI 48849.

Donations in Sherry's name can be given to VFW post 4461 in Lake Odessa for the Alta Mae Scholarship Fund
