Virgie Mae Marceaux

Virgie was born on September 23, 1929, the first-born to Emile and Janice (Richard) Aguillard.

She is survived by three sons; John (Melissa) Marceaux of Ragley, Maurice (Teresa) Marceaux of LeBlue Settlement, and Brian (Stephanie) Marceaux of Vinton, and two daughters, Norma (Roy) Young of LeBlue Settlement, and Mary Marceaux.

She was the grandmother to Jacob (Beth) Marceaux of Ragley, Joni (John) Richoux of Moss Bluff, Alisha Marceaux of Ragley, Ben (Jody) Marceaux of Hecker, Brant (Kalie) Marceaux of LeBleu Settlement, Zachary Marceaux, Tyler Marceaux, Connor Marceaux, Matthew Marceaux, all of Vinton, Angela (Randy) Cole of Lake Charles and Jason (Krissy) Marceaux of Evansville, IN and Troy Taylor of Grand Lake. She was also a great-grandmother to thirteen (and counting). In addition she is survived by her siblings, Anna Belle Taylor of Grand Lake and Jimmy Aguillard of south Lake Charles.

She is preceded in death by her parents, her oldest son, Nolan Marceaux, and two brothers, Oscar (Buster) Aguillard and Harry Aguillard.

Visitation will be held on Monday, July 6, 2020 at Hixson Funeral Home of Lake Charles beginning at 3:00pm until 9:00pm with a Rosary at 6:00pm led by Jacob Marceaux. Visitation will resume on Tuesday, July 7, 2020 at 8:00am with Services to follow at 2:00pm in Hixson Funeral Chapel. Services will be Officiated by Deacon Fred Reed with Interment to follow at Consolata Cemetery.
