Rudolph was a very devoted family man who loved his family dearly. He enjoyed attending his grandchildren's sport activities. He loved talking and telling stories to all who he came in contact with. Rudolph was an avid sports fan, liked to fish, hunt, and enjoyed woodworking. He was a retired employee of 33 years with Himont Chemical. Rudolph was also a member of the Catholic faith an attended Christ the King Catholic Church.
He is preceded in death by his parents; his loving wife of 56 years, Dolores Ann Nunez; brothers, Curtis Nunez and Jerry Nunez; sisters, Francis Miller and Jeanette Poole.
Those left to cherish his memory are his; daughter, Jackie Leslie and husband Reggie of Moss Bluff, LA; two sons, Rudolph "Chip" Nunez Jr. and wife Renee' of Tomball, TX, Eric Nunez and wife Angie of Lake Charles, LA; Seven grandchildren and one great grandchild; brothers, George E. Nunez and wife Della, Brent Nunez and wife Shirley, Dennis Nunez and wife Becky all of Sweet Lake, LA, Kenneth Nunez and wife Ann of Opelousas, LA; sister, Paula and husband Gilbert Benoit of Spring, TX.
Visitation will be held at Hixson Funeral Home of Lake Charles on Saturday January 9, 2021 form 8:30am till 9:30am. A Rosary will be prayed at 9:30am with the Funeral Service beginning at 11:30am. Burial will follow at the Grand Lake Community Cemetery.
