Rose Marie Guidry

She was born in Jennings, LA to parents Fred and Mable Gary on March 5, 1939.

Rose was a native of Jennings, LA and a lifelong resident of Lake Charles, LA. She was a member of St. Margaret Catholic Church. She retired as a LPN after many years of nursing. She enjoyed spending time with her grandkids, the Hallmark Channel, and drinking Community Coffee.

Rose is preceded in death by her husband Richard Lee Guidry; her parents Fred and Mable Gary; and her four brothers.

Those left to cherish her memory are her two sons Kevin and Dorothy Guidry of Ogden, UT and Bryan Guidry Sr. of Virginia Beach, VA; six grandchildren Courtney Haley and Douglas, Joshua Guidry, Bryan Guidry Jr., Javier Guidry, Lillian Guidry, and Kate Guidry; and two great grandchildren Carsyn Haley and Mason Haley.

Services will be held at Hixson Funeral Home in Lake Charles with the visitation beginning at 10 am and a Rosary at 11 am on Thursday December 16, 2021. Funeral Services will begin at 2 pm led by Deacon Tony Pousson. Burial will immediately follow at Consolata Cemetery.
