He was a member of Trinity Baptist Church, where he sang in the choir. He loved going to the movies, Southern Gospel Music, fall weather and the Christmas season. His favorite places to eat were Casa Manana and Pats of Henderson. He was a loving husband, father, son, brother, grandfather and friend. He will be missed by all who knew him.
He is survived by his wife, Mary Ann Caraway Delahoussaye; son, Aaron Delahoussaye; daughter, Ashley Delahoussaye; mother, Faye Hamberlin; sisters, Renee Tam and Debra Mullins; grandchildren, Emily Roberts, Eric Roberts and Natalie Roberts . He is preceded in death by his father, Howard Delahoussaye and sister, Diane Allen.
His Memorial Service will be 3:00 p.m., Thursday, August 22, 2013 at Hixson Funeral Home of Lake Charles. Visitation will begin Thursday from 9:00 a.m. until time of service. Burial will be at Consolata Cemetery. Words of comfort may be shared with the family at www.hixsonfuneralhomes.com
