Michael Lee “Hobo” Benoit, 65, passed away December 17, 2017.
He was born in Lake Charles and lived here most of his life. He was a member of Christ the King Catholic Church. He worked for LA Tank as a disposal operator and Big Diamond as a truck driver.
He is survived by his wife, Marianna Benoit of Lake Charles; sister, Justine Bessie Martin of Pasadena, TX; and numerous nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents, Velmont and Rose Swire Benoit, brothers, Velmont “Skipper” Benoit, Jr and Garland L. Benoit; sister, Gloria Dean Salinas.
Funeral Services will be 1pm, Saturday, December 23, 2017 at Hixson Funeral Home of Lake Charles.Visitation will be Friday from 4pm until 8pm with a rosary at 6pm and resume Saturday at 9am until time of service at the funeral home.
