Mabel Robertson

Mabel Robertson 88, transcended to her heavenly home Friday, April 22, 2016. Mabel was the kind of person who never met a stranger. Her smile was one of a kind and she touched the lives of so many people. She leaves to cherish to memory a host of niece’s nephew’s family and friends.

Mabel was an active member of Warren United Methodist Church, The United Methodist Women, a member of the Mary McGriff Bell Circle, Order of the Golden Circle, the Grand Conductress Emeritus for the order of the Eastern Star.

Mabel touched the hearts and minds of children in the Calcasieu Parish area for over 30 Years.

Mabel is preceded in death by her husband Clarence Robertson, her parents; Toby and Charity Gaddison, her bothers Henry Gaddison and James Sallier, Her sisters Dora Hammond and Alma Walker.

There will be a viewing on Thursday, April 28, 2016; 5:00pm – 9:00pm at Hixson Funeral Home, 3001 Ryan Street.

Celebration of Life service will be held on Friday April 29, 2016 at Warren United Methodist Church, 1800 Orchid Street, Lake Charles, led by Rev. Davis W. Clark. Visitation will begin from 9:00am until time of service. Words of comfort may be shared at www.hixsonfuneralhomes.com
