Elizabeth Jean Guidry, 62, passed away on Tuesday, April 19, 2011 in her residence.
Jean was married to the love of her life, Frank, in Santa Maria, California on October 18, 1969 and afterwards moved to Frank's hometown, Lake Charles, LA, in 1970 where they have lived ever since. She was co-owner of Gayle's Hardware, a member of Crewe du Bon Couer and served as Duchess of Crewe de Bon Couer 2011. She was a member of the Buccaneer’s since 1988.
She is survived by her husband, Francis "Frank" Guidry; daughter, Nichole F. Guidry; grandson, Nicholis Myers Guidry; sister, Margaret Ann Rogers of Bakersfield, CA. She is preceded in death by her parents, Charles Norris Farrell and Margaret McManus Farrell.
Her funeral will be 11 a.m. Saturday, April 23, 2011 at Hixson Funeral Home of Lake Charles. Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. Friday and 8 a.m. til time of service on Saturday. Words of comfort may be shared with the family at www.hixsonfuneralhomes.com
